Irene and Life As Usual

Last Sunday hurricane Irene hit us here in Connecticut. I think it was technically just a tropical storm by the time it got to us. It wasn't too bad, just windy and lots of rain. And of course the power went out. 4 days later it came back on. We had water and nice weather so it wasn't so bad, just annoying. The kids had movie withdrawals. But today we have power and it is back to life as usual. Sterling went back to work after a two week "staycation" so today is my first real day of being a mom of 3. Mesha woke up and then threw up. Hmmm, I can do this right? We'll see if I am still this optimistic in a week. Goodbye sanity. Goodbye naps. See you in a few years or so.
