Naked Stair Jumping and A Loose Tooth

This is a typical Saturday morning at the Smith home.  No clothes, not much parental supervision, lots of potential for accident and bleeding.  Just the way they like it!

The loose tooth is, amazingly enough, not related to the naked stair jumping.  Sterling keeps trying to convince Mesha to let him tie it to some floss so he or she can yank it out.  Can you say traumatizing?  I guess I can't speak for Mesha but the thought of that traumatizes me!

Bows

I decided I needed to up the girly cute factor with Anya.  It seems like you can cover your child in pink or purple and people will still think she is a boy.  But bows are unmistakable.  Thank you to Aunt Mindy for the corn syrup tip.  How cute is a girl with a bow stuck to her head?  I love it.

Hungry Fella?

When I first had Mesha I found myself calling my sisters and Mom all the time.  I didn't know how to take care of a baby!  It really is amazing how much work little things can be.  But I learned, I grew, and I figured out how to watch my babies for cues and not try to force growth on them when they were not ready for it.  For example, when my little girl grabs a cup of smoothie nearly out of her Dad's hands and proceeds to put it to her mouth and actually swallow some you know she MIGHT be ready for solids.
 Ya think?

Man this little one is cute.  I think she is a keeper.

Same Ol' Same Ol'

There hasn't been much going on here lately.  Just the same ol' same ol'.  So for your viewing pleasure I got some inspiration from my sister's blog and will post some phone photos for you.
Mesha in a chicken suit.
Me and my favorite son.
Summer fun (man I am already done with winter...)
Silly boy.
Making turkeys not this last Thanksgiving but the one before.
I like Costco, the kids like Costco.  It's a win-win kind of place.
Happy meal, happy boy.
