Rooms

We had the opportunity to put the kids in their own rooms and dress them up a little bit.

Here is Mesha's room. She now has a big girl bed!! She loves it.
A place for her toys.

Here is Griffin's room. Yay for his CUTE monkey bedding! I love it so much.

There is lots of closet space and places for toys.

More toys (this picture is crooked because I had a child hanging on my arm while I was taking it!).

Hallelujah!!!!

Sterling got a job offer today! Yay! He will now be an employee of Amica insurance. We have been very impressed with the company from what we have learned during the hiring process and we are very excited to start a career with them. Sterling will begin training in June, it will last 7 weeks (Yikes!! Does anybody feel like moving in with me and being my official nanny?!). We won't know till the 5th week of training where we are going. But we don't really care, we have a job and that is all the matters. I am so happy I could cry. Ok so I did once or twice already. We are blessed. Thank you everyone for support and help. We would be in a giant debt hole and suffer from severe depression without you all. When we know more about where and all that I will keep you posted (pun intended).

Goodbye Seattle

After some thought Sterling and I have decided to give my parents a break and move back to Spokane for a while. I will miss Seattle and my family here. Here are some pictures of our family walk we took this evening. I love my little family.

Tulips!

We went to the Mt. Vernon tulip festival this weekend. I would recommend going but I would not recommend going on a Saturday. Can you say traffic jam? But the tulips were beautiful! My favorite were the red ones, so bright!

Mom and the kiddos.

Cousins! We always have a great time with them.

Dad and the Mesh.

The Smith family.

My beautiful Mesha.

My handsome Griff.

The boys. There are so few, they have to stick together!

Two cute girls.

Easter

We had a nice little Easter at home. I told Mesha about the Easter Bunny the night before but it wasn't until she found the eggs with candy in them that she truly understood Mr. Bunny. The rest of the day she talked about how much she loved Easter Bunny. Now here we are just 2 1/2 days after the fact and all the candy is gone. Can you say sugar binge?

Checking out the loot.

My little jelly bean monster.

Mesha finding some eggs (Do you think she needs some new PJ's?).

Griff loved the grass. Yippee. I am still finding it everywhere!

Walker

Griffin has really taken off this last week. He just decided that he wanted to walk now and that was that! I am still getting used to seeing him walk off when I put him down. This is good timing too because I told Griffin that I wasn't going to let him go play outside with his sister until he could walk. I guess he took it to heart!

Egg Dying Time

Mesha enjoyed dying eggs this year. She was a little better at not eating the dye tablets and touching wet eggs. Griffin got to watch at a safe distance (I know, I'm mean, but you live and learn).

Happy egg dyer.
Now we are ready for Mr. Easter Bunny to visit us!

The Big 3-0

Sterling turned 30 on Thursday! We had a little party to celebrate (Sterling didn't want a big party, not his idea of fun I guess). The best part of the night was the fact we went out. I mean without children. A date. It has been years since that has happened. My sisters listened to our sleeping children while we went to a movie. Thanks girls!

The party animals.

My boys.

Opening presents (Sterling was with me when I got them, he picked them out. But to make up for the fact I can never surprise him I made him wait till his birthday to use them AND I got to wrap them!).

Blowing out the candles. No I didn't use 30, just five. But there is a 30 on the cake. I think I will wait till 40 or 50 to use the right number of candles and see if we can't get the smoke alarm to go off (good family memories!).
Happy birthday sweetheart! I hope you enjoyed your 20's and have even more to love in your 30's!
