Our Missionary

My brother, Dale, left for his mission this last Wednesday. He is serving in Joao Pessoa, Brazil. He is currently at the Provo MTC until his visa comes through (apparently it's a common problem for missionaries serving in Brazil).

Before he left we had some family bonding.

Rock band.

Fuji Teriyaki. (Sorry Mitch)

A family photo. We even got my sister Amy in while on skype! (Kara, Laura, Dale, Kierstin, Mindy in the back and Amy, Dad, Katie, and Mom in the front.)

The Smith's with Uncle Dale. (My children are SO photogenic!)

We will miss our brother/uncle but we are so happy has decided to serve and we are so proud of him! See you in two years Dale!

Christmas!

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Mesha didn't quite get the Santa thing but she sure loved what he left her!

We spent the day with my family playing with our presents. Around bedtime we put the kids in the car and drove over to Sterling's family. We must of had too much fun doing things because I didn't take any pictures. We spent a quiet New Years Eve there also playing games till the stoke of midnight. Now we are trying to get back to normal (in more ways than one!).

Christmas Eve

Here are some pictures of our Christmas Eve.
The ringing of the bells (a family tradition to unify everyone wherever they may be...)
Next we have the nativity dress up. You will be proud to know that this year no adults dressed up, I think that might be a first...
Mary Julia and Joseph Cameron.
Wise Natalie.Mesha the Angel.Wise Griffin.The whole gang.

After the nativity we had some good old fashion fun playing bingo (yet another tradition). No one cried and Mitch got several bingo's. And then a pig flew by. We had lots of fun with our family!
