Anya Videos

This blog has sort of turned into the Anya show but I can't help it, she is so cute!  Here are two recent Anya videos.

On a warm day I let the kids run around outside and Anya wanted to join them.


Sterling and I have exceptional parenting skills.  Your infant should always watch 10-16 hours of TV a day.  She was so excited watching this though.  Sweet girl.

Big Girl

Anya is getting big.  We are moving on to table food and she LOVES it.  I have a little bit of homemade baby puree that I am trying to use up before we move but it is a bit of a battle to get her to eat it.  She loves to chew!  She finally got a tooth a week or so ago.  She bites me to let me know she is done nursing.  *sarcastic yay*!!!  We love our Anya!

Waterfall

We took advantage of a nice warm day and went to see a waterfall in Kent, CT.

Ridiculously Good Looking

Griffin is ridiculously good looking!  These are my favorite photos from his recent shoot.

 Griffin is potty training.  It is going alright.  I think that if there is one thing about parenting that might kill me it's potty training.  Me no likey.  But Griffin is doing better and better.  He can tell me when he needs to pee now and we are working on #2.  I see a light at the end of the tunnel, the gears are starting to move, he's getting it.  We just need more practice.  And chocolate.  And Puss in Boots.

Easter 2012

Here are my little Easter Bunnies!  I wasn't able to get a group photo because Anya fell asleep and by the time church was over two out of the three kids got their outfits dirty.  Sigh.

DC Wash

We went to Washington D.C.!  Griffin calls it D.C. Wash.  We had tons of fun, here are a million pictures of all that fun.

At the Natural History museum they had signs every now and then that said "please touch!" Mesha loved them and looked for them.

 Day two we met up with my old BYU roommate/ fellow vaulter and her family.  It was so fun to see her!  I felt like someone other than a mom, it was fun and strange.

There was a kite festival that day.  Our dollar store kite did pretty good considering.

After it broke (surprise, surprise) the kids just played with the tail.

 On day three we went to see the temple and hang out with Guam's family in Baltimore.

We put plastic animals in the kids' soup because it was April Fool's Day.  Griffin didn't get the joke.

April 1st is also Sterling's birthday.  Happy birthday Sterling! Guam made him a cake and made up some kind of symbolism about him not yet being over the hill but really she just needed to make him a separate piece with about 3 cups of salt in it.  Sterling said his cheek was numb from holding the cake in his mouth while trying to decide what to do with it.  Guam only let him suffer for a minute or so before she let the cat out of the bag.  It was hilarious.
