DC Wash

We went to Washington D.C.!  Griffin calls it D.C. Wash.  We had tons of fun, here are a million pictures of all that fun.
Mesha at the WWII memorial.  She is looking at a penny and seeing that building in real life in the distance!
I am a professional at self taken photos.  Too bad I am my only client, I don't pay very well.  The National Monument is in the background.
California baby.
Washington boys.
Connecticut baby.
Utah girl.
The Korean War Memorial.
Lincoln Memorial.
Vietnam Memorial.  This was one of my favorites.
The White House.
At the Natural History museum they had signs every now and then that said "please touch!" Mesha loved them and looked for them.
Happy baby.

Day two we met up with my old BYU roommate/ fellow vaulter and her family.  It was so fun to see her!  I felt like someone other than a mom, it was fun and strange.
At the Jefferson Memorial waiting for our friends.
Me and Guam.  Her real name is Juliana, for the life of me I can't call her that.  She will always be Guam to me!
President Kennedy's grave in Arlington Cemetery.
My Mesha and Guam's Ryley were instant best friends.
Tomb of the unknown soldier.
There was a kite festival that day.  Our dollar store kite did pretty good considering.
After it broke (surprise, surprise) the kids just played with the tail.

On day three we went to see the temple and hang out with Guam's family in Baltimore.
At the temple.
We put plastic animals in the kids' soup because it was April Fool's Day.  Griffin didn't get the joke.
April 1st is also Sterling's birthday.  Happy birthday Sterling! Guam made him a cake and made up some kind of symbolism about him not yet being over the hill but really she just needed to make him a separate piece with about 3 cups of salt in it.  Sterling said his cheek was numb from holding the cake in his mouth while trying to decide what to do with it.  Guam only let him suffer for a minute or so before she let the cat out of the bag.  It was hilarious.
Our little bunny rabbits.
We had so much fun, thank you Posey's for letting us play with you!
