Griffin's Meeting

We blessed our little Griff this last Sunday. My nephew Cameron kept calling it "Griffin's Meeting". What a funny kid. A bunch of my family from the western side of the state came over for the event. We had both sets of Grandparents, my sister Mindy and her husband Mitch with their 3 kids, my sister Katie, my brother Dale, and Sterling's brother Andrew all around to help us celebrate.

Here is the man of the hour. His Grandma Smith made his blessing outfit for him. Thank you so much! I picked out the material and buttons. That counts as helping right? He is laughing in this picture. What a handsome little man!

Thanks for coming my fellow Washingtonians. I miss my Utahans , Iowans, Californians, Arizonans, and Hawaiians (but mostly I am jealous I can't live in Hawaii too)!

He Speaks

I love little baby talk. Also, Griffin is training to be an olympic boxer. He's got quite the southpaw jab!

Another Hunt

The Easter Bunny came and Mesha loved hunting for the eggs. She needs some help next year though. It took her a long time to find them all (mostly because she stopped after every egg to try eat the candy inside).

Easter Outfits

Griffin the bunny. Grandma and I (mostly Grandma) made the little tie out of ribbon. I love little ties. And little bunnies named Griffin.


The only way we could get Mesha to hold still and smile was to bribe her with candy. Griffin can't eat candy and told us how he feels about it.

Easter Egg Hunt

We took the kiddos to an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday. I use the word "hunt" very loosely.

Good News!

Today was the first day since I had little Griff that I fit into non-maternity pants! YAY! They are my "fat pants" but at least they don't have elastic. Don't get me wrong, I like elastic, it's very comfortable, but there is something about a zipper and button that helps your self-esteem oh so much.

Sunshine

We FINALLY had some warm days here. It has been such a cold winter. Snow in April, I mean really, come on! So when the sun did come out we went outside and just soaked it up. I'm sure it's just a tease but we'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Dying Eggs

On Monday we dyed our Easter Eggs. Mesha loved it and it took all of my energy and concentration to keep her from making a huge mess. If her lips look a little blue it's because she thought the little color tablet was candy and she put it in her mouth faster than I could move.

The finished product. The speckles are not by design, they are little fingerprints made by busy little hands that couldn't leave the eggs alone.
